From May 7th to 11th   2018, Loreto (Italy) was the city where the activities of the European Project “Sharing Innovative Teaching Methodologies Improving Employability Rates” (2017-1-ES01-KA202-038307) took place. In those activities the participants were  I.S.S. Einstein Nebbia Loreto (Italy), C.P.I.F.P. Hurtado de Mendoza (Granada, Spain), Ester Mosessons Gymnasium (Gotemburgo, Sweden), and the Federación Provincial de Empresas de Hostelería y Turismo de Granada (as a business partner of this project).


The first meeting of these institutions was held in Granada in January 2018. During this whole week in Loreto the students have had the opportunity of taking lessons in kitchen and other services areas of catering sector. Also they have visited some companies from the area (like two hotels, a wine cellar, a traditional pasta factory…) and some touristic places such as Loreto or Ancona.


Moreover during the week the teachers and people responsible of the academic institutions did the Job shadowing activities. Likewise, the students have had the chance of learning some basic concepts of the host language, Italian.


The students have shown the results of some surveys they have done in their hometown to companies of the sector and they have displayed a draft about their ideas for new company projects based on the goals of the program such as entrepreneurship, promoting social inclusion and accessibility).

During this second meeting the basis and objectives of the project “SHARING INNOVATIVE TEACHING METHODOLOGIES IMPROVING EMPLOYABILITY RATES” (SIT:IER) (2017-1-ES01-KA202-038307), have been effectively consolidated:


– The development of skills of the students of the tourism sector and hotel and catering business, by the utilization of innovative methodologies.

– The improvement of the entrepreneurship abilities.

– The support to social inclusion of the students.

– The increase of digital integration of the students.

– The increase of employability chances of the students.

The next destination will be Ester Mosessons Gymnasium (Sweden) which is planned for 2019.
