Last week, from May 6th to 10th, it has taken place in Gothenburg (Sweden) the third (and last) meeting of the European Project “Sharing Innovative Teaching Methodologies Improving Employability Rates” (2017-1-ES01-KA202-038307), co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union. The meeting has been plenty of activities with the participants Ester Mosessons Gymnasium (Gothenburg, Sweden), I.S.S. Einstein Nebbia Loreto (Italy), C.P.I.F.P. Hurtado de Mendoza (Granada, Spain) and Federación Provincial de Empresas de Hostelería y Turismo de Granada (as a business partner).
The first meeting of these institutions was held in Granada in January 2018 and the second one in Loreto in May 2018. In this third one, the students have had the opportunity of taking lessons in cooking and other services areas of catering sector. Also they have visited some companies from the city (Gothia Towers) and some touristic places such as Brännö Island or Rock Carvings in Vitlycke.
Moreover during the week there have been different activities for the teachers and coordinators such as knowing how Ester Mosessons Gymnasium and Hotel Kusten manage and work with people with special needs or discussing issues related to the progress of SIT:IER Project.
The students have shown the result of their interviews with entrepreneurs of their hometown and have displayed a draft about their ideas based on the goals of SIT:IER Project such as entrepreneurship, promoting social inclusion and accessibility.
During this last meeting, the basis and objectives of the Project “SHARING INNOVATE TEACHING METHODOLOGIES IMPROVING EMPLOYABILITY RATES” (SIT:IER) (2017-1-ES01-KA202-038307) have been definitely consolidated:
